Sgt. Jason Bagg is the project manager for the Durham Regional Police Service (DRP) Body-Worn Camera Project, a one-year pilot deployment of body worn cameras with frontline patrol and traffic enforcement officers. The project, deploying approximately 80 cameras, will go live in mid-June 2018.Sgt. Bagg is in his 17th year of policing and has worked on Frontline, Youth, Criminal Investigations and Courts.

Jason Laplante is the Public Safety and Enforcement Supervisor with Russell Township, located 25 minutes south-east of Ottawa.Jason graduated from La Cité Collégiale’s Police Foundations program in 2003 and joined the Township of Russell’s Municipal Law Enforcement department in May 2003.He was appointed as the Alternate Community Emergency Management Co-ordinator for the Township of Russell in 2004 and promoted to Public Safety and Enforcement supervisor in 2014.He also joined the OPP Auxiliary Program in 2006 in Hawkesbury, transferred to the Russell County Auxiliary Unit in 2007 and was then promoted to the rank of Auxiliary Sergeant in 2008.Jason has been…

Colin Giles

Colin Giles is the UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) program co-ordinator, Aviation Services with the Ontario Provincial Police. He joined the force in 1999 and was posted to the Caledon detachment in a general duties capacity. In 2002, he became a member of the OPP Emergency Response team and on June 1, 2016, he was given the opportunity to co-ordinate the newly expanded UAS program.
